Hello, my name is Malik Gilmore, the founder of The Martian Files. I first came up with the name as a derivation of my stage name "Malik The Martian" which I came up with as a way to stand out from the crowd. I keep that in mind every time I pick up my camera. "Stand Out". The photos I take all remain in my head as a file of my life.

As far as my photography, I am a portrait and fashion photographer based in Union, New Jersey. Some key areas of of experience include Creative Direction, Art Direction, Photo Manipulation, Dark Room Printing, Digital User Experience and Usability, Photography, and Retouching. I am open to shooting all types of photography, and love venturing into new projects!
